Model for structured description of work-related competencies (Kenteq)

In the project Vocational Qualification Transfer System (VQTS) a model was developed for the structured description of work-related competencies. This has made it easier to find an international workplacement. The project received two awards for the best European education project: the 'Helsinki Award 2006' and the 'Lifelong Learning Award 2007 in Gold'.

Using common knowledge (Kenteq)

Together with Germany, Spain, Italy, Lithuania and Ireland, Kenteq has developed an e-learning module on fuel cell technology. In this project optimal use was made of knowledge from various countries. www.fuelcellknowhow.com


Competency-based qualifications that meet the requirements of the labour market (PMLF Centre of Expertise)

The PMLF Centre of Expertise supports Romania with the development of national competency-based qualifications for the (petro-)chemical field.


FOOT B-NL (SVGB)

Together with branch parties and educational institutes in senior secondary and higher vocational education in Belgium and the Netherlands, the SVGB works within the Forum for Training Programmes in Orthopaedic Technology Belgium - Netherlands (FOOT B-NL) on the harmonisation of the offer of training programmes. At the centre of these activities are the use of each other's provisions, cooperation in the implementation and determination of common professional standards.


Creation and implementation of a common European Vocational Qualification (Centre of Expertise on Trade)

Belgium, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Switzerland and the Netherlands work together on the development and implementation of a European professional qualification in international trade. This leads to a higher transparency of qualifications and thus contributes to mobility in the field of education and labour on European level.

The world changes continuously and increasingly fast. Employers have to move along with technological, economic, social, demographic, international and regional developments. Also the situation on the labour market changes quickly.
